​Home iNSUlation GRANTS

All homes built prior to 2006 can avail of Home Insulation Grants to assist in the cost of upgrading the levels of insulation. The programme is operated through the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) under the Better Energy Homes Scheme which gives fixed cash amounts to help make your home more comfortable and cheaper to run. It is available to all owners of homes built before 2006. 

Insulation makes homes warmer and more comfortable. Householders can expect to halve their heating bills with serious reductions. This means more money in their pockets.

Eirgreen Insulation is registered under the scheme to carry out the upgrade works which adhere to strict rules and standards. Eirgreen Insulation is fully insured and hold a valid tax clearance certificate. There are regular quality inspections of our works and we must meet all relevant certification requirements and be registered with the National Standards Association of Ireland (NSAI).

There is a one off grant of €50 towards the cost of a Building Energy Rating (BER). It is part of the Better Energy Homes Scheme that a BER is completed with any insulation grants works.

How do I apply for the Insulation Grants?
During our FREE Energy & Insulation Survey of your home we will advise of all grants available and can simple apply and discount them from our quotation. We also take care of all the grant application paperwork in your house. All we need is the MPRN Number of your house which is locating on any electricity bill and we will do the rest.

Additional Insulation Grants available with Electric Ireland (Formally ESB):
Electric Ireland are rewarding their customers with Energy Grants for making their homes more energy efficient.. This reward is given to you in the form of a credit on your bill.

For Cavity Wall Insulation there is an additional grant of €260 and for Attic Insulation there is €104.

Couple this grant with the SEAI grants and there is €1,014 for Cavity Wall & Attic Insulation.

NEW CONDENSING BOILER AND HEATING CONTROL GRANTS

All homes built prior to 2006 can avail of fixed cash amounts to offset the cost of upgrading or replacing the old boiler with a new condensing boiler and to install modern heating controls, which as a result are more efficient to run, lowering heating bills and leaving a little extra in your pocket. The heating grants are also operating through the SEAI under the Better Energy Homes Scheme. 

Eirgreen Insulation is fully insured and hold a valid tax clearance certificate. There are regular quality inspections of our works and we must meet all relevant certification requirements and be registered with the National Standards Association of Ireland (NSAI).

New Condensing Boilers & Heating System Grants

Additional Heating Grants available with Electric Ireland. (Formally ESB)
Electric Ireland is rewarding their customers with energy grants for making their homes more energy efficient. This reward is given to you in the form of a credit on your bill.
For New Condensing Boilers with Heating Controls there is an additional grant of €616 upwards. 

Couple this grant with the SEAI grants and there is €1,316 for a New Condensing Boiler with Heating Controls.

Fixed cash grants are available through SEAI for installing a solar water heating system in your home. Solar panels provide an endless supply of free energy, harnessed from the sun meaning that you will have unlimited supply of hot water. The technology has been around for over 25 years and has been tried and trusted. No more immersions heating water during summer months.All homes built prior to 2006 can avail the solar water Heating Grants to offset the cost of the installation. 

Eirgreen Insulation through our partners is registered under the scheme to install the solar water heating system. All works with the solar water heating system have to adhere to strict rules and standards. There are regular quality inspections of the works and Eirgreen Insulation must meet all relevant certification requirements

Additional Solar Water Heating Grants available with Electric Ireland (Formally ESB).
Electric Ireland is rewarding their customers with energy grants for making their homes more energy efficient. This reward is given to you in the form of a credit on your bill.

For a Solar Water Heating System there is an additional grant of €132. 

Couple this grant with the SEAI grants and there is €1,332 for a Solar Water Heating System.

bonus insulation and heating upgrade grants

There is even better news when making your home more energy efficient. If you undertake three upgrade measures for example: Cavity Wall and Attic Insulation along with a New Boiler, you will receive an additional bonus grant payment of €300 on top of the grants listed above. 

Go even further and add a Solar Water Heating System and receive an additional grant payment of €100 is available for householders who undertake four or more measures.
